Spring of the Blade Synopsis
Xie Qingyuan was orphaned at a young age and lived on the streets before meeting Shen Run, who had been sent to the army following a tragedy in his family. The two formed a bond and eventually parted ways with a promise to survive. Before they separated, Shen Run gave Xie Qingyuan a penny as a token.
Years later, Xie Qingyuan returns to the Xie Mansion with the intention of uncovering the truth behind her mother’s death. At the same time, Shen Run rises to power and is assigned to oversee the Xie family during a crisis. Their paths cross again, giving them an opportunity to work together and rebuild the connection they formed years earlier.
