Remnants of Gold Synopsis
Three hundred thousand taels of gold suddenly appear in the vast desert, accompanied by a rumor that anyone who searches for the treasure is destined to become a vengeful spirit. An Imperial Guard officer sent to investigate the mystery descends into madness on his first day. Meanwhile, a loyal and courageous deputy envoy who has traveled too far to turn back finds himself caught between desire and honor.
After her entire family is slaughtered, a woman who is immune to all poisons returns to the desert to seek revenge. She deliberately makes herself the prize that every faction wants to capture as she enters the dangerous struggle surrounding the gold.
From a relay station and an armed escort agency to a general’s residence, a group of martial heroes becomes involved in the deadly conflict spreading across the remote frontier.
